Natasha Khamjani

If you're looking for someone who thinks outside the box, Natasha could be the answer. She fuses styles to create a unique and quirky vibe, creating fresh and original work. From Lindy Hop to Contemporary and Ballet to Locking!

Extremely pro- active and a 'can do' person Natasha is highly efficient and meets deadlines with ease. She has patience, a sense of humour and an ability to gain immediate confidence in clients and artists. A personable and diplomatic choreographer who has a wealth of experience in a variety of genres and is great at collaborating.

Choreography credits include adverts for Sky TV and Robbie Williams, Animation Capture for Sony Ericsson Monsters, as well as TV work for BBC Blast, Discovery Channel and BBC's 'Big Dance' with Bruce Forsyth (dance captain) and various Pantomimes, Hair, Trade and Fashion Shows.

She is currently preparing to work with The Opera Group on their production of' Varjak Paw' and later on in the year with Upswing, a circus company working with hip hop and bungees!

2007 saw Natasha working with the Royal Opera House and East London Dances education departments on 'Tosca' and 'Demon Juice' a fusion of hip hop and opera. She is delighted to be working with both organisations later this year on the 'Thief of Baghdad' alongside director Karen Gillingham. She also worked as movement director for the Welsh National Opera's production of 'Twenty Women Singing', with Karen.

Corporate work includes a commission by Jade Jagger and Belvedere Vodka, performed at the Cannes Film Festival celebrations ( under Twitch and with Fleur Davison).

She has just completed 'Journey East' a commission from Newham Council for East London Dance and in collaboration with Scarabeus (circus company) for the Beijing Olympic Torch relay (with Fleur Davison). A site specific spectacular that was performed on the roof of Stratford Library to welcome the Beijing Torch into the Olympic borough of Newham and then again at The Lift Festival in Stratford park.

As a performer she has worked extensively in TV, Dance Theatre, Musical Theatre and Corporately so understands fully the level of professionalism expected and required in all fields of dance.
